After the short hold, Darius came on, asked me for my full name, and then asked me how he could help me. I explained to him my hotspot issues, and he said no worries, we will get you set up. The first solution was using a USB-C cable to connect my Android phone to my MacBook Air, and then tethering it. He himself is an Android user, so he taught me exactly how to do it. Then he quickly taught me how to do it via my Android device hotspot.

Trust is built on long term relationships. Have been using MacPaw for years and I have learned their customer service is second to none. Every time I’ve needed to get hold of them, they respond and resolve my issue immediately. A great company that has never lost it’s edge. Yes, despite the name orienting toward Mac users, MacPaw offers products that support Windows users too.
Make your Mac X times cleaner, faster, safer
This morning I see that the subscription will be cancelled at the end of the cycle and will not renew. I also got an automatic email from MacPaw that most personnel are based in Kyiv (!) and will try to solve problem within 72 hours. Well my problem was solved during the time I was asleep (say 8 hours) so great customer support. Now I’m kind of regretting canceling the subscription, as I would like to support the company and personnel. It goes against our guidelines to offer incentives for reviews. We also ensure all reviews are published without moderation.
I have an ongoing problem with CleanMyMac since upgrading to MacOS14 Sonoma. Last year, I felt the human element was lacking. This year, Apple blew me away with how smoothly each different method of seeking support went. From online chatting to phone calls, each member really took extra time to explain to my senior character that it was okay that I was just learning, and that they were there to help me and were in no rush.

Each team member slowly guided me to a solution, even when I would repeat myself and them over and over or sidetrack to a story about my son or my day.
A problem activating the new version despite an active subscription was resolved quickly and efficiently by Bedreddin, so I’m back up and running and cleaning up my Mac. Ive been using macpaw products for many years but recently had reason to query a billing matter. They were super quick and easy to deal with. I had to upgrade computer and could not activate CleanMyMac on new computer – contacted support and got a super fast response back with solution.
Ordered too many subscriptions
We use dedicated people and clever technology to safeguard our platform. Had problems getting my subscription to Clean My Mac to open. When the suggestion given on the website didn’t work I called. The tech support team with Yaroslavl and even the developers worked with me to resolve my problem. I sent in logs and screen shots they needed. They didn’t give up on my problem and they never made me feel like I was an idiot or it was somehow my fault.
